Delivery calendar

Here is our planning for upcoming menus and delivery areas.

Deliveries are within a 2 hour time slot on Fridays or Saturdays depending on your location. We usually email on Thursdays with your 2 hour delivery window.

Please note that the delivery days for the areas listed is tentative and may change depending on the orders that come in. Just drop us a line with your order if you have a specific request.

Also get in touch if your postcode is not listed but is close-by to one mentioned. We always do our best to acomodate.

Dips

- Jibneh dip
Our take on a traditional shanklish cheese dip made with a delicious blend of whipped cheese and spices, tomatoes, onions and olive oil.

- Baba ganoush
The real baba ganoush! Smokey aubergines with tomatoes, green peppers, onions, garlic, lemon juice and pomegranate molasses.


Soups

-Birds head soup

Don’t worry, the soup has no bird’s heads in it! The name refers to the small meatballs in the tasty tomato and rice soup that are the size of a bird’s head.


Salads

- Shawandar tabbouleh (new)
An autumn twist on the traditional tabbouleh. The earthy tones of the beetroot are a wonderful addition to this vibrant salad.

- Green za’atar and olive salad
A fresh thyme salad with green olives and cheese in a tangy dressing, highlighting some of the key flavours of the region.


Small dishes

- Fassouliyeh bayda
Slow-cooked white butterbeans in a tomato sauce with carrots and coriander.

- Shoki bil zeit
A light and colourful dish with Turkish influences; artichoke hearts cooked with carrots and peas with lemon and dill.

- Aqras samak (new)
Although fish is not commonly eaten in Aleppo, these fish cakes are a delectable mix of cod and  traditional Aleppian spices.


Mains

- Meshi bulgur
Vegetables filled with fragrant bulgur and cooked in a rich tomato sauce with lemon, mint and garlic (vegan).

- Chicken kabseh

Chicken with rice cooked in aromatic spices, black lemons, raisins and nuts.


Desserts

- Orange polenta cake.
A fresh cake with toasted almonds and polenta drizzled with an orange and orange blossom syrup.

- Baklawa
Rich flaky pastry filled with nuts with a sweet orange blossom syrup.

- Jazar dip (new)

A bright and tasty dip packed full of flavour and texture with carrots, tahini, lemon and toasted pistachios.

- Batersh
A specialty from Hama, with a delicious layer of smokey aubergines, tahini and yogurt topped with minced meat cooked in a tangy tomato sauce, and nuts.


Soups

-Creamy brown lentil soup

A smooth filling brown lentil soup delicately flavoured with cumin and lemon. Comes with pita crisps.


Salads

- Eric's tabbouleh
A different take on tabbouleh: a green couscous salad with an abundance of herbs tomatoes and pickled onions (vegan).

- Malfouf
The Syrian coleslaw: a mix of red and green cabbage with diced tomatoes, walnuts and a cumin vinaigrette dressing (vegan).


Small dishes

- Mujaddara
A satisfying dish of lentils and rice flavoured and topped with crispy onions (vegan).

- Zeitoun rolls
Soft rolls filled with a tasty tangy olive mix flavoured with pomegranate molasses and herbs.

- Eras na' na'
An Aleppian classic, mint meat patties with a lemon and garlic sauce.


Mains

- Aubergine moussaka
Layers of aubergines, peppers, onions and chickpeas in a rich tomato sauce. Comes with rice.

- Freekeh

Chicken cooked in Aleppo spices on a bed of smoky green cracked bulgur, topped with toasted nuts and pomegranate seeds..


Desserts

- Asafiri
Little pancakes filled with clotted cream and nuts, drizzled with a sweet orange blossom syrup.

- Knafeh cheesecake
Discover a mix of culture through this adaptation of the traditional middle eastern knafeh, topped with orange blossom and pistachio cream cheese filling.

Salads

- Fresh za'atar salad
Popular in Aleppo, this salad is the perfect balance between the strong flavours of the fresh thyme and the mildness of the cheese and tomatoes, all drizzled with a lemon and olive oil vinaigrette.

- Chickpea salad
Hummus in Arabic means chickpeas and this is a delightful salad of chickpeas, tomatoes, green and red peppers, cucumbers, salad greens and spring onions with a lemon, cumin and paprika dressing (vegan).


Small dishes

- Kibbeh mtajaneh
Delicious meat and bulgur croquettes balls sautéed in a mix of sweet peppers and onions.

- Khibz fle fle
Handmade flatbreads topped with a special slightly spicy red pepper mix based on a family recipe.

- Arnabeet ejjeh
The Syrian egg frittata with cauliflower and a mix of herbs, onions and a cumin yogurt sauce.


Mains

- Kibeet batata
A delicious kibbeh made with layers of potato and bulgur filled with a tasty spinach, onion and walnut mix.

Desserts

- Red fruit, pistachio and rosewater cake
A mix of cultures comes together to produce this deliciously moist cake drizzled with rose water icing.

- Halawet el jibn
A delicious summer and Ramadan dessert, these little bundles are a Syrian specialty from Homs and Hama. Rolls of cheese and semolina are filled with cream and topped with pistachios and orange blossom syrup.
